Last December, Mia Jane won 1st place in the second grade spelling bee at her school. Last night, January 20th, along with the support of her Mamaw, Dad, Mom, Hannah, Sarah, Ben, Auntee Stormi and gang, she won 1st place once again in the district spelling bee. Mamaw assurred Dustin that she didn't get that talent from him. Afterwards, we celebrated by going to Coldstone for yummy ice cream and did a bit of karaoke at home before bed.
She did a great job, and it looks like we are on for the county spelling bee. She got to be on the morning announcements at school today. She went to the computer lab and was on the tv screen waving to the students in all the classrooms. :) What a special day for her! GREAT JOB LITTLE LADY! WE LOVE YOU!!!
